The delivery box:
our corrugated paper cardboard boxes can be reused, recycled, biodegradable and compostable as long as it is broken into small pieces.
The food bag:
These 'polybags' are made from regular polythene - i.e. manufactured using oil-based polymers - with an additive that acts as a catalyst to accelerate the degradation process.
These will fully degrade in up to 24 months in landfill as the plastic breaks down into small fragments before biodegrading into carbon dioxide, water, biomass and minerals.
The printed labels:
are made from brown Kraft paper. This is unbleached to retain the natural wood colour and keep chemical treatments to a minimum, making it a 100% natural biomaterial.
The adhesive is also an eco-friendly starch based glue which is soluble in water.
